Endo: Complications or consequences from endometriosis may include infertility, either because of tubal obstruction or endometriosis within the ovaries that may affect ovulation. Pain which could be cyclic or daily depending on what other organs may be involved. More uncommon is peritoneal and/or ovarian cancer.

Comp -endometriosis: Adhesions are the main problem although one may have pain and bowel obstruction. There may be ovarian failure following surgical excision.
