How can i reduce throat swelling from strep?

Anti-inflammatories: Anti-inflammatories such as Ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen) can be helpful both for swelling and fever. Just be sure to take this with food particularly when on antibiotics to avoid stomach upset or acid reflux issues.
