Abx don't interfere : The presence of antibiotics will not alter a child's response to vaccines. Twenty or more years ago we often deferred the vaccines if a kid had a fever due the potential added stress of expected fever with the old pertussis vaccine. Todays vaccines are so free of issues that we seldom need to delay their use.
