I have to have sinus surgery i want rhinoplasty also can those surgerys be combined?

Absolutely: I do this for patients all the time. The key is to find the right doctor skilled in both disciplines or a doctor to do the outside who works well with the doctor to do the inside. You want to end up with a nose that looks good and works well.

Routinely: I routinely undertake both at the same time. If you do, however, do both surgeries simultaneously, be advised that you will have more protracted swelling after surgery.

Yes: Occasionally rhinoplasty and sinus surgery can be done in the same session. Unless you find a surgeon who you want to do both procedures you will have to find both a sinus surgeon and a facial plastic surgeon that both have privileges in the same facility and then work on coordinating schedules.

Yes: I did a medical study of the combination of rhinoplasty and sinus surgery and found them to be safe to perform together. You need to find an otolaryngologist or facial plastic surgeon trained in both procedures.

Sometimes: In some cases, rhinoplasty and sinus surgery are ok to have at the same time. In cases where frank pus and infected sinuses is expected, consider staging the procedures.

Yes: Find a facial plastic surgeon or ENT surgeon who performs both. I wrote a medical paper on the safety of both done together some years ago.
