Medications: Metocloparmide can be very effective for increasing breast milk production. The side effects happen only to some people and are reversible when you stop the medication. If you feel muscle rigidity with the medication you can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to counteract, and stop taking the medication and call your provider. An herbal alternative used is fenugreek tea/capsules.
