A member asked:

At what degree of myopia is it sensible to wear contacts daily?

If useful: We generally restrict contacts to those over age 12 or so as the wearer should be able to handle the lenses. For those older, it is sensible if you have the need for them and can handle them (following directions properly). They can be cosmetically and visually helpful and in more extreme cases of myopia, can actually make the vision better than glasses.

Your choice!: When you are fully dependent on glasses for your myopia, it makes sense to wear contacts daily. If you don't feel that you need glasses most of your day, then it may not make sense to go through that hassle.
