The kind of questions that need to be answered include: is the drooping due to descent of your forehead tissues, too much skin in the upper eyelids, an abnormally low position of the lids on the eyeball, or a combination of factors. Choices: There are several choices. Plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons and otolaryngology surgeons all operate on the eye. Your job will be to find a fully-trained and experienced surgeon that still loves to do reconstructive surgery on the eye and eyelids. Many cosmetic-only plastic surgeons will not do this type of surgery anymore. Make sure your choice is experienced in the procedure you want.

Depends.: 'droopy eyelid' is a lay term referring to dermatochalasis (excess skin hanging over the lid crease) or blepharoptosis (sagging of the lid edge). Dermatochalasis is treated w/ blepharoplasty where the excess skin is excised +/- browlift & can be managed by any experienced plastic, facial plastic, or oculoplastic surgeon. In general, an oculoplastic surgeon will be the most familiar treating ptosis.

Eyelids: Your best bet would be to have your eyes evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
