See note: Associates answer is appropriate if you mean this is on eye and not supra temporal meaning near your eye brow.

Retinal hemorrage: It matters what caused the hemorrhage and where it is eg. subretinal. If you have diabetic proliferative retinopathy causing hemorrhages, you are at risk of glaucoma, retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, and macular edema. The treatment is laser surgery. Supratemporal are the most common. Macular degen risks include fam hist ,BP, sun exposure, poor diet, obesity, inactivity., light eyes.

Not on eye: If the hemorrhage is superotemporal to the eye, then it is not on the eye and also not related to macular degeneration. If there is bleeding in or under the retina inside the eye, then a cause would need to be determined.
