Strabismus: The eyes are misaligned. The problem with this is that the brain starts to preferentially look through one eye and begins to neglect the other. Over time, the neglected eye becomes essentially bling. Treatment is very helpful. See an ophthalmologist.

Treatment: If you haven't already done so, then you should take your child for evaluation to an eye specialist. By your description it is very possible that there is a problem with one of the muscles that controls eye movement. If so, there is treatment.
