You do not mention names of medications, but it would not be surprising to have developed a transient sleep disorder secondary to your prior regimen. Would suggest discussing with the physician involved, but, at this point, do not restart sleep medication, but rather anticipate sleepiness returning over the next few days, as your brain chemicals return to a more normal state.

Sleep hygiene is the first step in combating insomnia and include a mix of intellectual and physical activities during the day with limited screen time, avoidance of stimulant drinks/naps during the day, focus should be in achieving 7-8 h of sleep at night with a reliable sleeping routine. Sometimes medical conditions can cause changes, depression among others, and seeing your doc would be best.
