Ointments...: There are some fine topical otc ointments you can use - mild Hydrocortisone or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) ointments that are fine for short periods of time in babies. Using a cool pack on the area can also help decrease itch. Good luck!

Steroid creams: Steroid creams help reduce the itch and swelling of bed bug bites. Do not apply it near his eyes and go very lightly on his face if you must use it there. Treat the underlying cause - get an exterminator, new bed, etc.
