Cefuroxime SE's: Common: diarrhea/nausea/vomiting; vaginitis; elevated liver enzymes, diaper rash; impaired kidneys; anemia; jarisch-herxheimer rxn. Serious: severe allergic rxns; kidney damage; decreased blood cell elements (rbc's, wbc's, platelets, etc); seizures; clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea.
