Many: If given in improper doses & not monitored, hormone therapy can lead to many different problems such as breast tenderness (most common), deep venous thrombosis, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, hair growth, adult cystic acne, thermal changes, and possibly increased cancer rates for estrogen dependent cancers depending upon the type of estrogen that is used.
