Yes: Most people who use the gym are motivated to get in shape but having someone there to teach you how to do all exercises correctly and help you focus on weak areas is important. Setting goals with a trainer and having them push you to reach your goals is worth the money if you are already devoting precious time in the gym. You should make the time there as beneficial as possible.
