Penis biposy: Absolutely not. Depending on where the biopsy is going to be taken from - you may be able to have this done under local anesthetic with some mild relaxing agent. If you are phobic of sounds and the or then you may need a deeper anesthetic.

Depends on situation: Probably not. Most biopsies can be done under local anesthesia (numbing medicine) injected near the site. For patients who are extremely anxious, medications such as versed or Xanax (alprazolam) can be given in advance. Endotracheal tube anesthesia usually is only needed for more extensive surgery where muscle relaxation is needed.
