Pain w/meals, cramps: Gallbladder pain is usually describes as colicky (cramping) that comes in waves, stimulated by fatty meals, as such meals stimulate the gallbladder to contract, causing pain. It is on the right side under the ribs (and liver) but can radiate to other places. It is more common in women in their 40s, and being overweight increases risk.
