What's the difference between a total abdominal hysterectomy and a partial?

This is misunderstoo: Tah means removal of the uterus and cervix, partial means removal of the uterus and leave the cervix. If you have the uterus, cervix and ovaries removed the proper name for this procedure is total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo- oophorectomy.
