Liposonix works: The technology that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound for noninvasive local fat reduction is called liposonix. It is fda approved and in the clinical trials the average reduction in waist circumference was about an inch following a single treatment. Because the fat cells are destroyed, the effect is permanent just like liposuction.

It is not like lipo: External devices do not not work like liposuction. If it sounds to good to be true...

Mediocre....: Non surgical fat reduction methods (if they work at all) work kinda modestly. Don't spend any money you can't afford to lose. :).

Liposonix works: Liposonix is a noninvasive technology that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound to premanently reduce localized body fat in a single treatment. After the treatment, it takes several weeks for the results to appear as the body re-absorbs the destroyed fat cells. A small percentage of patients do not respond to the treatment but on average about an inch reduction in the waist circumference is expe.
