Cyclic symptoms: Pms/pmdd is usually cyclic in nature, meaning that the symptoms occur prior to menstrual bleeding and the onset of a period usually helps these symptoms resolve. Therefore, the irritability, bloating, aching and mood changes are the worse during the week prior to your period.
