A member asked:

What is the difference between pms and pmdd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a lot.: Pms refers to the physical symptoms which can occur monthly in relation to the menstrual cycle. Pmdd refers to the emotional symptoms that occur. Since the mind and body are related, it is rare to have one without at least some of the other.
