Is there an herbal remedy for pms/pmdd?

Sort of: Some herbal remedies, such as St John's Wort, that claim to help symptoms of pms/pmdd. Issue that many docs take w/ herbals are twofold: there are often no formal controlled studies showing they work and/or cause no harm, and #2 the FDA that regulates all other drugs does NOT control herbal stuff. So one bottle may have one concentration of the active ingrdnt, but the next..? Either way see ur MD

PMS: Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or black cohosh with dr ok. Sipping chamomile can dissipate pain.
