PMS vs PMDD: Pms is a cluster of psychological, behavioral and somatic symptoms in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. These include anxiety, depression, irritability, rejection sensitivity, bloating, breast tenderness, and weight gain. Pmdd is a more severe form of this, interfering with work, social activities, and relationships. http://www.womensmentalhealth.org/specialty-clinics/pms-and-pmdd/.
