A member asked:

Why do i have to worry about oral health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is central: It is amazing how much oral health affects general health. E.G. Gingivitis (inflammation of gums) is caused by deficiency of coenzyme q10 an important "conditional" nutrient that affects all cells. Conditional means that it is normally synthesized in the body from other substances. If this mechanisme fails then it has to be obtaidned from diet.
