Glyset (miglitol): Glyset (miglitol) is an other possibility. Certainly good dietary habits and exercise is important. If fact exercise is probably the most important. Medicines to control cholesterol and high blood pressure also also very important when needed.

Metformin still best: Metformin is still the best drug for you, unless you are intolerant. Exercise and a low glycemic diet should be followed.
