You could: Shrimp allergy can be life-threatening and come on suddenly. It's best diagnosed by history -- if symptoms have closely followed shrimp ingestion more than once, you'd be wise to avoid this. An allergist may have additional advice. If the time relationship isn't right, another allergy or something in the angioedema family is a concern.
