How do pericarditis myocarditis and endocarditis develop?

Similar & different: Infection can cause all three of these entities, however combination of all three is rather uncommon. Endocarditis is typically caused by a bacteria and rarely as an end result of major illness (lupus, etc.), myocarditis is very typically viral in etiology, and pericarditis can be infectious in etiology, or due to radiation, connective tissue disease (lupus or the like) or renal failure.

Variable: Pericarditis is if the heart sac- like wraper on a lettuce. The myocardium is the heart muscle, the endocardium is the inner lining and includes the valves for this discussion. Viral, bacterial, ischemic and other inflammatory diseases can affect one or more of these.
