Scar rare dark : THe gold standard laser tor tattoo removal is a Q switched laser. This means it fires very fast not allowing time for a lot of heat transfer to the tissue. This means the risk of scar is low about 1 in 1000 under optimal conditions. improper training or laser will increase the risk. Hyperpigmentation darkness is more common but most time resolves in time.
