A member asked:

Should i be worried about my kids fish consumption?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Fish is a very healthy food and i highly recommend it. Some fish contain larger amounts of mercury than others, so you do need to limit those, but most americans should eat more fish, not less. Limit canned albacore tuna to no more than 6 ounces per week. Avoid big fish that is higher in mercury including shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish. Check out kidsafeseafood.Com.
