Usually nothing: Palpitations during pregnancy is common. Usually there is no concern and the work up is benign. However, it should be discussed with your physician and worked up on individual basis.

Depends: Like so many things it depends on what you are experiencing. Many changes occur to the cardiovascular system during pregnancy so that you can support two lives. If you are having prolonged symptoms that you are worried about i would recommend that you talk to your OB and then speak with a cardiologist if they feel that it is needed.
