A member asked:

Pretty much had every test done 4 heart they say its healthy.y do i continue 2 have palpitations even when im not anxious?pregnancy making them worse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Palpitations: Palpitations are very common among healthy people. The fact that you have palpitations does not mean you have heart disease. Most importantly is to rule out what we call structural heart disease and define the palpitations with either a holter or event monitor depending on frequency. Yes being pregnant can sometimes flare the episodes. Avoid caffeine and stimulants. Please clear with your doctor.
