How do you prepare mugwort for smoking?

Hmmmm: By not smoking it. Used mostly to season foods in traditional european & asian cuisine. Could be poisonous & certainly dangerous to a fetus. You may wish to discuss your drug problems with your doctor.

Moxibustion: I didn't know anyone smoked mugworth. It can be rolled into cigarettes to be used for moxibustion on the skin in conjunction with acupuncture.
