Try switching: The acid in the lemon can cause damage to the enamel (if you're doing this often). If you're trying to remove simple foods stain, try mixing a small amout of baking soda and water to make a paste, then brush with that (doesn't taste great, but it's effective). The mild abrasive in the baking soda will cleanse the stain...Again, do this within moderaton.
