Of course: As low-impact exercise, walking is both physically and psychologically healthy. Physical exercise can "work off" stress hormones, tense and relax muscles, and give physically pleasant sensations. In addition, you get the benefits of fresh air, new scenery, and possibly casual social interactions, all of which may relieve stress.
