See below:: Anxiety and depression: selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (ssri's) for symptoms of anxiety, depression, and/or obsessive-compulsive disorder. Antipsychotic meds (thioridazine, fluphenazine, chlorpromazine, haloperidol) & atypical antipsychotics (zyprexia/risperidone) to treat severe behavioral problems. Anticonvulsants;stimulants;antidepressants, naltrexone, lithium, & benzodiazepines.

Many options: It is extremely complex to treat, but see a true expert for multi-dimensional care & to customize the treatment. Increasingly, psychoactive meds play an important role. Fairly common & non-standard meds need be considered carefully & selected & titrated for the individual, possibly addressing such features as anxiety, anger, mood, hyperactivity, etc.
