That has yet to be : Proven, although some old studies showed Cocaine could attach to sperm & children of men with chronic alcoholism have lower overall iq's than the general population. Drugs are teratogens that have to pass through the mother's bloodstream & cross the placenta to the fetal brain to cause damage. While no illicit drug specifically causes autism, it may be part of the neurodevelopmental profile.
