See below: Establish routine, schedule, to make your environment more predictable. Self-care routine -- set a times of the day for exercising, hobbies, reading, (doesn't have to be done all at once, but even 15min.), work on me time. Practice relaxation, positive visualizations -- you can find scripts on line or in the library. If you're being treated, stay compliant with treatment. Good luck!

Stay active: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Your body releases endorphins during exercise, which can help you feel calm. If you exercise 30 - 60 minutes a day, your stress levels can improve. When stressed, take 5 slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed, then roll your shoulders forward 5 times, then back 5 times. This will slow your heart rate and release tension in your neck and shoulders.

Exercise: If possible, get yourself outside for a vigorous walk every day for 20 minutes or more. Exercise releases what are known as endorphins (natural chemicals that make you feel good) into your system. Don't look for overnight results, or dramatic results. But after about a week of doing this, see if your mood changes.
