Helps with sex: Sensate focus or sensate focusing is a term usually associated with a set of specific sexual exercises for couples or for individuals aimed at increasing personal and interpersonal awareness of self and the other's needs. Each participant is encouraged to focus on their own varied sense experience, rather than to see orgasm as the sole go of the sexual encounter.

Sensate Focus: is a desensitizaton technique that gradually allows you and your partner to experience physical intimacy in a relaxed fashion without the pressure of having to perform sexually.Once comnfortable, the exercises move on to genital touching, again without orgasm, until finally, u graduate to full stimulation. It can be a very loving experience; some couples find it almost 'spiritual.'
