Dr. Traci Joy Seidman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Seidman has enjoyed a great variety of training, expertise and interest in her 29+ years of experience. She is a Diplomate-Fellow in Medical Psychology, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She began practicing at the Associates in Behavioral Counseling in 1986. She utilizes a holistic and mindfulness approach, combining hypnosis and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in treating all age groups with many different types of psychological and adjustment problems. Dr. Seidman works with individuals, couples and families in order to establish life changes required to help her patients achieve effective life changing results. In addition to specializing in sexual disorders, Dr. Seidman has specialized with anxiety disorders, depression, chronic pain and chronic illness. Dr. Seidman encourages her patients’ awareness of the mind-body-emotion connection, and she is sensitive to their individual spiritual needs. She focuses on helping people develop insight and awareness to achieve positive solutions and sensible adaptations to fit their lives and individual needs. Her unpretentious, warm and caring approach, combined with a professional, but relaxed, office atmosphere make for an easy and comfortable experience. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT, and Meditation Instructor. Dr. Seidman was a member of the Board of Directors of the MS Foundation for over 10 years and was an on-line doctor on their website, MSFocus.com, and has written many articles in their quarterly magazine, MSFocus.
