Pain Management: A prior answer covers this in detail. However, if it is a pelvic injury without fracture or pelvic instability, it is not serious, and managing fear and pain becomes most important. Also what caused the pelvic fracture? Have the musculoskeletal system checked, is their underlying osteoporosis, is there something abnormal in the pelvic bone that led to it fracturing in that spot (pathological fx).
