Cyst vs abscess: Clogged pore or cyst can enlarge & become painful. They can also become infected, especially if ingrown hair. Ice is good to apply to injuries while warmth is good for infections. Use indelible ink to mark circumference around lump. If it grows beyond, then go see your family doc. May need to get drained.
