Comprehensive: During a well baby exam the child's vital signs are taken, he/she is measured for growth in height, weight, and head size. These are compared to standard measurements to gage growth. There is general guidance given on care for a child. Also, there is an evaluation of development. There is also a physical exam. If appropriate, labs may be drawn and immunizations given.
