Can i drive myself home after lasik?

No: After lasik, your vision will be a little blurry. Also, you may get some sedation (valium) and driving would be too dangerous.

No: Due to sedation given prior to the procedure and irritation/ tearing immediately after the procedure, i would not recommend driving home on the day of your lasik procedure.

No: Although you will be able to see, it is highly recommended that someone else drives you to the procedure and back home. You will be light sensitive and the best thing for you to do after the procedure would be to keep your eyes closed.
