Nutrition is all!: Nutrition is related to everything. The old saying you are what you eat is really true. All the vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbs, and fats are all taken up and turned into building blocks our bodies use for every chemical reaction in the body... And there are thousands occurring each minute. Healthy brain functioning requires healthy nutrition. There's not enough room for further details. :(.

Protection: In general, nutritional intake is key. In alzheimer's disease, there is some evidence to support fatty fish, red wine, fruit and vegetable juices, coffee, as protective to some extent.
