Hi i would like to know that if there is a link between bipolar disorder and dementia or alzheimer disease? if a person had start level of bd and took medications regularly, is there a chance to have more disorders and diseases other than bd?

Co-morbidity: History of Bipolar Disorder increases risk for dementia later in life. REF: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5365367/ A person can have comorbid psychiatric conditions with or without treatment. I am not sure about specifics with Alzheimer;s (which is a form of dementia) & bipolar disorder.
