Can a family member ride in the ambulance with mom?

Depends: Mostly no as the space is limited and sometimes medical attention must be administered which takes up space and it is hard to work around another person in the vehicles. If the ambulance is being used just for transportation and not care, sometimes an additional passenger can be accomodated.
