See Primary Care: Abdominal pain and blood on the toilet paper may just be constipation or it may be a sign of something more serious. Your mother should see her Primary care and be evaluated. They can refer her for further evaluation if indicated. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Needs colonoscopy: Bleeding from rectum and abdominal pain could have many reasons, including colorectal cancer. I think she needs to have colonoscopy to make sure this is not colon cancer.
