Caring for parents: This is a big question, and requires soul-searching on your part. Even when relationships with parents have been optimal, there may still be painful areas which resurface if you take on the caregiver role. Another question is whether you already have the needed skills, or would you require additional training? A geriatric care manager may help you review what's needed, so you can decide.
