Decrease: Cardiac output is mediated through hormonal and neuro control and during periods of rest the vagal nerve output is increased decresing the heart rate and there is decreased stress hormone output decreasing the contractility, or the "squeeze strength" of the heart, both of which contribute to cardiac output.
