Make an appointment.: It probably is not a problem, especially if the tick is not small, like the deer tick thtat can carry lyme disease. It might do good to put antibiotic ointment on it. If it does not go away or becomes a big rash or you still are concerned, a quick visit to the doctor, preferably with the tick if you still have it, is the best thing to do.

See below: Since it is hard to really exam your own scalp in the back area, i would say, yes, see your doctor for an evaluation.
