No: Aspirin is used to prevent the formation of blood clots through the inhibition of aggregation of cells (platelets) that are part of the clot. Once the clot is formed, Aspirin is not very effective in dissolving it. This is because the clot has material incorporated in it that does not respond to the action of aspirin.
